What is SIBA and do I really need to file it?

Yes. SIBA (Sistema de Informação de Boletins de Alojamento) is a mandatory guest registration system run by SEF/AIMA. Every AL host in Portugal must submit guest details within 3 days of check-in. Failure to comply can result in fines of up to €2,500. EazyAL automates this submission for you.
