How to Link Your Alojamento Local to Airbnb with EazyAL
Airbnb is one of the largest sources of online reservations in the world, so connecting it to EazyAL is one of the most valuable steps you can take to fill your rooms.
Before you connect Airbnb to EazyAL PMS
The Connect Airbnb option only becomes available once the property's setup in EazyAL is complete and the person connecting Airbnb has permission to manage the property.
Before starting, make sure the following information has already been configured in EazyAL:
Property name and contact details
Official property address
Rooms and rates
Prices
Minimum and maximum stay rules
Booking window and calendar availability
Once those settings are complete, you can connect the property to Airbnb.
Important things to check first
When you start the Airbnb connection, EazyAL displays the Before connecting Airbnb dialog.
Before continuing:
Use the listing owner account; co-host accounts may not be eligible.
The listing must be active on Airbnb.
Disconnect any other channel manager before continuing.
Review Smart Pricing and Airbnb-only settings once the listing is connected.
There is also one particularly important instruction:
Before connecting, disconnect any other channel manager and turn off “Unavailable by default” in Airbnb. One Airbnb listing maps to this property and its rate.
Do this before starting the connection.
What happens when you connect Airbnb?
There are three things hosts should understand before continuing.
First, one Airbnb listing connects to one whole property in EazyAL. It is not connected room by room.
Second, the Airbnb login happens through Airbnb's own authorisation page. Your Airbnb password is never entered into or stored by EazyAL.
Third, connecting Airbnb does not change several important Airbnb-specific settings.

You should, however, review Airbnb Smart Pricing and other Airbnb-only settings after the connection is activated.
Step 1: Open Booking connections
Sign in to EazyAL and open:

This is where EazyAL manages connections between your property and external booking channels such as Airbnb.
Step 2: Choose Connect Airbnb

An introductory dialog explains what EazyAL will manage through the connection.
The integration can:

You can then begin the four-step Airbnb connection process.
Step 3: Authorise Airbnb
Choose:

An Airbnb window opens.
Sign in using the Airbnb account that owns the listing and approve the requested access.
The screen displays:

Because authentication happens directly through Airbnb, EazyAL does not receive your Airbnb password.
Once Airbnb authorisation is complete, return to EazyAL.
Step 4: Select your Airbnb listing
The next screen is:

EazyAL loads the listings associated with the Airbnb account you authorised.
Choose the Airbnb listing that corresponds to the property you are connecting.

Take a moment to confirm that you have selected the correct listing, especially if the Airbnb account manages several properties.

Step 5: Check your rooms and rates

Confirm that the Airbnb listing matches the property and rate configured in EazyAL.
This is the point where you verify that the correct Airbnb listing is being connected to the correct property.
Although the screen refers to rooms and rates, Airbnb is connected at the whole-property level, not room by room.
Step 6: Review and activate the connection
The final connection step is:

Review the connection details and turn the Airbnb connection on.
Once activated, EazyAL can begin synchronising the supported property information with Airbnb.
What if EazyAL doesn't detect that you returned from Airbnb?
Occasionally, you may finish the Airbnb authorisation flow but EazyAL does not immediately detect that you have returned.
You do not need to start again.

EazyAL will actively verify the Airbnb account and listing instead of waiting for the connection status to update automatically.
Review your Airbnb-only settings
After the connection is ready, EazyAL opens:

The connection is ready. These settings belong to the Airbnb listing, and EazyAL cannot check all of them for you.
This step matters because not every Airbnb setting is controlled by EazyAL.
What EazyAL controls
EazyAL provides a shared source for the settings that should remain consistent across your connected booking channels.

If you later connect another channel such as Booking.com, the channels share the relevant availability and pricing information through EazyAL.
Connecting Booking.com does not remove Airbnb-specific settings.
Likewise, connecting Airbnb does not overwrite settings that belong specifically to another booking platform.

What if you want to change the connection later?
If you later need to change which rooms or rates the Airbnb channel sells, do not immediately disconnect everything and start again.

This lets you return to the Airbnb connection configuration and make the necessary changes without unnecessarily rebuilding the integration from scratch.
Will connecting EazyAL change my Airbnb prices?
This is one of the most common questions hosts ask.
EazyAL can manage the shared prices and stay rules associated with the connected property.
However, Airbnb also has platform-specific settings that need to be reviewed separately.
In particular, hosts should check Smart Pricing after connecting Airbnb.
Taxes, fees and discounts that belong to the Airbnb listing are not automatically overwritten simply because the listing has been connected.
Will EazyAL change my Airbnb scheduled messages?
No.
Your existing Airbnb scheduled messages stay in Airbnb.
Connecting EazyAL does not delete or replace them.
EazyAL can receive supported guest messages through the connection, but Airbnb's own scheduled-message configuration remains an Airbnb setting.
Does EazyAL need my Airbnb password?
No.
When you select Authorise Airbnb, the sign-in process takes place through Airbnb's own authorisation screen.
EazyAL receives the authorised connection, not your Airbnb password.

Can I connect using an Airbnb co-host account?
