EazyAL is the opposite shape: narrow and deep. I built it because, as an AL host in Portugal, my problem was never syncing calendars — it was the SIBA boletim, the monthly INE survey, the tourist tax rules changing per municipality, and the invoicing. SIBA guest registration: both handle it

Credit where due: AvaiBook takes Portuguese guest registration seriously. Its PMS includes automatic digital check-in with signature and direct sending to the SIBA (SEF/AIMA) portal, and its Fast Check-in tool chases guests automatically 10, 5 and 2 days before arrival. One caveat from their own documentation: if the guest never completes the form, collecting the data remains the host's manual job.

EazyAL's flow is the same idea with a compliance-first finish: guest fills the check-in link, EazyAL submits the bulletin within the legal 3-day window, you get the official SIBA confirmation email, and the proof is archived per guest. INE IPHH: AvaiBook doesn't mention it

The monthly INE IPHH survey (guests, overnight stays, nationalities, occupancy — mandatory even with zero guests) appears nowhere on AvaiBook's site, pricing or help center. AvaiBook hosts do WebInq by hand every month.

EazyAL automates INE IPHH from the same check-in data — the submission is prepared for WebInq automatically on the Pro plan. If you've ever forgotten a zero-guest month, you know why this matters.

Tourist tax: same story

Municipal tourist tax — Lisbon €4, Porto €2.50, Funchal, Faro, Olhão, each with its own exemptions and caps — is not listed as an AvaiBook feature.
