Imagine one Booking.com property with two cabins. Cabin A and Cabin B each have a different door or lockbox PIN and different arrival instructions. You want guests to receive the right details automatically, but a single message scheduled for the whole property cannot know which cabin’s code to include. Here, “PIN” means the code that opens the cabin, rather than a Booking.com reservation PIN.
Booking.com offers scheduled message templates. Its published Extranet setup lets you choose when a template goes out and which template to send, but it does not provide a rule that selects a different template according to the room booked. EazyAL fills that gap for cabins mapped as separate Booking.com room types.
Why a standard Booking.com template is not enough
A property-wide template works well for information both cabins share: the address, parking instructions or a welcome note. The PIN is different. If you put Cabin A’s code in the general template, a guest booked into Cabin B could receive the wrong code. Including both PINs in every message gives guests access information they do not need.
Booking.com’s templates can fill in booking information such as the guest’s name or check-in time, but its documented scheduler does not let you say, “Send these instructions only when the guest booked Cabin A.” The missing piece is a reliable connection between the booked room and the message content.
What can you do without another tool?
You can save two separate message templates in Booking.com, check the room on each new reservation and send the matching one yourself. Another option is to automate a general arrival message and send the correct PIN manually after checking the booking. Both approaches work, but the room check remains on your to-do list for every guest.
Avoid scheduling a general template containing either cabin’s PIN until you have verified that only the right guests can receive it.
How EazyAL sends the instructions for the booked room
With a Booking.com messaging connection active in EazyAL and each cabin mapped as its own Booking.com room type, you can create a scheduled message for Cabin A and another for Cabin B. Put each cabin’s PIN, entrance directions and other check-in details in its own message. An iCal calendar link alone does not enable this messaging setup.
In EazyAL, open Messages → Automated messages → Scheduled messages → Schedule message. Select Booking.com, choose the cabin under Bookings for, write the message and choose when it should send. Repeat for the other cabin. EazyAL uses the mapped room type in the reservation to select the relevant message and sends it in the guest’s Booking.com conversation. If one reservation includes both cabins and both rules have the same send event and time, EazyAL combines their instructions into one message.
Before enabling the messages, check that the two Booking.com rooms are mapped to the correct cabins in EazyAL. Then verify the text and timing for each one. This matters most when room names look similar or PINs have recently changed. See the Booking.com connection guide for the mapping steps.
One important limit: the cabins must be distinguishable as separate mapped Booking.com room types. If Booking.com sells two physical cabins as inventory under a single room type and assigns the actual cabin later, a room-based rule cannot tell which physical cabin the guest will receive. EazyAL also sends the PIN you enter; it does not create a fresh code or program a smart lock for each booking.
Give each guest the right arrival information
For a host with two cabins, the goal is simple: Cabin A’s guest gets Cabin A’s instructions, and Cabin B’s guest gets Cabin B’s. Booking.com’s general scheduled templates do not provide the room-based sending rule in this setup. EazyAL adds that selection once your Booking.com rooms are mapped, so you can automate the useful part without sending the wrong PIN.

Frequently asked questions
Can Booking.com send a different automatic PIN message for each room?
Booking.com’s documented Extranet scheduler supports automatic templates by reservation stage, but does not provide a booked-room condition for choosing between different cabin PIN messages. You can still send the right saved template manually, or use a connected tool with room-aware messaging.
Does EazyAL generate a new PIN for every Booking.com reservation?
No. You enter and maintain each cabin’s PIN in its scheduled message. If you change a door code, update the corresponding message before it is sent to the next guest.
What if a guest books both cabins?
EazyAL selects the instructions for both mapped rooms. If their rules have the same send event and time, they are combined into one message. Otherwise, they arrive separately in the same Booking.com conversation.
